Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Congress working president and former state cabinet minister Jitu Patwari has made a big allegation on the arrangements of the Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led BJP government. On Thursday, Congress leader Jitu Patwari accused the state of rising debt and said that seeing such a situation, it seems that the state is not moving forward on the path of becoming Sri Lanka. 

The Congress leader alleged that the state is sinking into debt. Quoting data, he said that there is a debt of about 45 thousand rupees per person in the state. The government borrows every month. He said that loans are being taken to give interest, organize events and advertise in the province. Even a loan is being taken to make a new loan plan. The Congress is afraid that Madhya Pradesh is not moving forward on the path of becoming Sri Lanka.  

Patwari has said that the government is again going to take a loan of 4,000 crore rupees. This debt has to be repaid by the coming generation of the state. During this time, he also accused the government of being completely involved in corruption.
