UP government on alert mode regarding Monkeypox, CM Yogi issued advisory

Lucknow: After curbing the speed of corona virus, in view of the cases of monkeypox in many countries, the Yogi government has issued guidelines regarding this infection. Even though there is no patient in the state due to this infection, but the health department is fully alert to fight the disease. Under which the in-charges of PHC-CHC have been instructed to give immediate information on getting the patient while taking precautions.

Along with this, instructions have also been issued by CM Yogi to make a ten-bed ward in the State Medical College of the state, so that the patient can be admitted and treated with immediate effect. In view of the increasing cases of monkeypox infection in various countries, CM Yogi has issued instructions to take precaution in the state. He has ordered the higher officials to make the general public aware about the symptoms, treatment etc. of monkeypox according to the guidelines of the Government of India.

CM Yogi further said that people with suspicious symptoms should get their blood tested. Even though no case has been reported regarding monkeypox so far, but the health department in the state has started its preparations. The Health Department is taking full vigil in the state, along with instructions have been given to make a ten-bed ward in the Government Medical College on behalf of the department.
