New Delhi: Satyendra Jain, the health minister in the Arvind Kejriwal government in Delhi, will remain in the custody of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) till June 13. He will now be produced in court on Monday. A new revelation has been made in the case of AAP leader Satyendra Jain, who is facing the heat of investigation in a money laundering case. It is reported that the investigating agency is also upset with the slow pace of writing of Satyendra Jain. It is being said that due to this, the ED's interrogation is being delayed.

According to media reports, Additional Solicitor General SV Raju has told the Rouse Avenue court, "Jain writes very slowly. It takes him about two hours to write a page. It is necessary to take his statement in his own handwriting, otherwise, he says that it is not my statement. Jain was arrested by the ED on May 30. Along with this, a challenge before the authorities is also the fear spread among the witnesses. According to the report, the ED said that some witnesses have said that they should not be brought before Satyendra Jain, as they fear for their safety. Raju told the court, "Some witnesses have said that they are afraid that if they are brought face-to-face with Jain, it will have serious consequences.''

The CBI registered a case against the AAP leader in 2017. Based on this, the investigating agency arrested him on May 30. Along with him, the names of his wife Poonam Jain, Ajit Prasad Jain, Sunil Kumar Jain, Vaibhav and Ankush were also included in the FIR. The investigating agency had raided Jain's house on June 7 and seized Rs 2.82 crore and 1.8 kg of gold.
