After which the customers of these two banks have also become customers of PNB. In such a situation, the bank has now come out with a new rule for the consumers of both those banks. After the bank merge, customers of Oriental Bank and United Bank were making payments using their old cheque book, but now the process will be stopped soon. State that chequebooks and IFSC Code have been changed to the consumers of Oriental Bank of Commerce and United Bank of India in Punjab National Bank (PNB). In such a situation, they can now use their old cheque book only till 30th June. Thebank has, therefore, urged all the people to take their new IFSC from The Coad Bank at the earliest, otherwise they may face problems later. PNB Bank, which has always been solving the problem faced by customers, has informed everyone through a tweet this time too that consumers of Oriental Bank of Commerce and Union Bank of India will not be able to use their old cheque book from June 30 onwards. So they should apply for a new cheque book at the earliest. State that the bank has issued a new IFSC code for the consumers of both the banks. In such a situation, if no one has received information from the bank so far, they should go to the bank at the earliest and get a new IFSC and MICR.
