Washington- A recent US intelligence report has revealed that several researchers from the Wuhan Institute of Virology fell ill and were admitted to hospital weeks before the first corona virus case was confirmed in China. China had said that the first case of corona in Wuhan was registered on December 8, 2020.

But according to this US intelligence report, three researchers from the Wuhan Laboratory had already fallen ill in November 2019 and had to be admitted to the hospital. According to information received from the report, the ongoing debate over the origin of the corona virus may intensify. However, the intelligence department is yet to ascertain what actually caused the researchers to fall ill. The director of National intelligence said, "The intelligence community does not know exactly where or how the Corona virus spread from".

According to media reports, a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, who topped the investigation to detect the corona epidemic, received a briefing last week in the matter. Many current and former intelligence officials believe that the Corona virus accidentally originated from Wuhan's lab. However, there is no conclusive evidence.
