Punjab secures investments worth Rs.3200 cr in textile sector

CHANDIGARH:  The Punjab government, headed by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, is always working to attract as much investment as possible to the state in order to boost its economy and provide more job opportunities for the state's youth.

Anmol Gagan Mann, the minister of investment promotion, said that in the past nine months, the state has successfully attracted investments totaling more than 3200 crores in the fields of textiles, technological textiles, apparel, and makeup. She claimed that a number of well-known businesses, including Sanatan Polycott and Nahar Spinning Mills, are among the investing firms. She mentioned Sanatan Polycott and Nahar Spinning Mills as two of the investing firms.

More than 13,000 skilled individuals in the textile business may find jobs thanks to the Rs 3,200 crore investment. She said that this investment serves as a reminder of the steps the administration has done to develop a business-friendly industrial ecosystem in the state.

The minister detailed , Punjab has an ideal environment for businesses looking to establish operations there thanks to the government's industry-friendly policies, the Chief Minister's strong leadership, Punjab's connectivity in terms of roads, railways, and airways, friendly labour relations with no domicile restrictions, and an unbroken power supply.
