Kids get bored eating the same thing every time. Why not try something different with the same ingredients your kids have daily.

STRAWBERRY & CREAM SANDWHICH

Ingredients

2 slices whole-grain sandwich bread 2 tablespoons whipped cream cheese 1 teaspoon honey 4 strawberries (sliced)

Directions

Cut the ends of the bread and toast or grill the bread. Apply the cream Cheese, the honey and the sliced strawberries. Lay them differently on the plate to create a different look and serve it to your kids.

APPLE AND CHEDDAR SLICE-TART

Ingredients

2 slices whole-wheat cinnamon raisin bread 1/2 apple, finely sliced 2 slices Cheddar Cheese 1 teaspoon unsalted butter A pinch of ground cinnamon

Directions

Take the slices of bread and add the finely sliced apples and cheddar cheese. Heat some butter in a pan over low heat. Add the ready tart on to the pan. Cover the pan and let it cook for around 8 minutes, until the cheese melts Dust a little cinnamon on top and serve.

CRISP PARMESAN PITA

Ingredients

6-inch whole-wheat pita 1 tablespoon unsalted butter 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan A pinch of dried oregano Salt (to taste)

Directions

Preheat the oven for 15 minutes. Brush the butter on the pita and add the grated parmesan, oregano and a pinch of salt. Cut them into triangles and place it in the oven for about 3 minutes. Remove it and serve them warm.
