Lucknow: In the encounter between police and miscreants on Friday night at Fatehpur Road in Lalganj, a miscreant got 3 bullets in both legs, while SOG Suresh Verma of SOG was also seriously injured in this encounter. The injured miscreant was referred to the district hospital. According to the information received from the hospital, three bullets have been hit on both the legs of the injured accused. He was brought to CHC for treatment. Due to severe condition, doctors referred him to the district hospital. The bullet has passed out in the right arm of SOG Verma of SOG. In the encounter, the injured crook Sonu Yadav's son Rambodh Yadav is a resident of the entire village Behta Khurd Bhadokhar. City Superintendent of Police Swapnil Mamgai said in his statement that vigilante police was checking the information of the informer in connection with the robbery incident which happened to a bullion trader in Lalganj 3 days ago. Two miscreants riding on a bike started fleeing after stopping the police. On the chase, the miscreants opened fire on the police. SOG's Suresh Verma was injured in the shootout, upon which the police also retaliated, causing a bully to shoot in both legs, and he fell on the spot and was nabbed. The injured crook was brought to the hospital after being shot. Strict action will be taken against the same miscreants.
