Rahul Gandhi compares corona vaccination with demonetisation, accuses Modi government

New Delhi: Former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday alleged that the central government's vaccine strategy is no less than demonetization as people will line up and suffer health, money, and loss of life. Rahul Gandhi tweeted, "The central government's vaccine strategy is no less than demonetization. the common people will queue up to bear the loss of money, health, and life and in the end, only a few industrialists will benefit."

It may be recalled that the Central Government on Monday said that from May 1, everyone over the age of 18 will be able to get the vaccine to prevent covid-19. The government has also allowed states, private hospitals, and industrial establishments to buy doses directly from vaccine manufacturers, exempting vaccination campaigns. On the other hand, nearly three million new cases of coronavirus infection have increased the total number of infected people to 1,56,16,130, while the death toll from 2,023 more patients has gone up to 1,82,553.

The Union Health Ministry has informed in this regard on Wednesday. According to health ministry data updated at 8 am on Wednesday, 2,95,041 new cases of infection have been reported in the last 24 hours, taking the number of patients under treatment to more than 2.1 million.
