Rahul Gandhi slams Center: 'Have to re-tell cruel government, impossible to repel farmers'

New Delhi: The farmers' agitation continues on the agricultural laws brought by the Modi government at the center. Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi has once again targeted the Modi government. Regarding the peasant movement, Rahul Gandhi has said tightly that the three laws will have to be withdrawn in every respect.

In the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat of Kerala, Rahul Gandhi tweeted that "Annadata's old with rain, don't fear or excuse the weather, so tell the cruel government again, repel farmers impossible, all three laws will have to be returned!" It is noteworthy that several rounds of meetings between the farmers and the leaders of the Center have been held in the capital Delhi. However, no solution could be found in the conversation. Also, on the issue of farmers, some parties, including Congress, are working in an effort to organize Kisan Mahapanchayat in UP in their favor.

Apart from this, Rakesh Singh Tikait, leader of Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU), said that this movement will continue slowly in a peaceful manner. Rakesh Tikait said, "There will be big panchayats all over the country. There will be dharnas and meetings going on." At the same time, when Tikait was asked questions on the talks with the government, he said that "When the government needs it, we will talk. We do not need it. Nor do we ask the government to talk. All three laws will be withdrawn and the MSP will be enacted. But if the government is ready, then we will talk, or else it will go on like this.”
