'Minimum GDP and maximum unemployment in the country, shame on PM.. ':Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi: Former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi has questioned the country's economy after questions from the Central government on black fungus cases in the country. Rahul Gandhi tweeted that it is a shame for the PM that there is a minimum GDP in the country and maximum unemployment. Earlier on Tuesday, questioning the Central government on black fungus, Rahul said, "Why is it implicating the public in formalities instead of providing treatment?"

Rahul tweeted, "The Central Government should clarify about the Black Fungus Epidemic as to what is being done for shortage of amphotericin-B medicine. What is the procedure for getting this medicine to the patient? Why is the Modi government implicating the people in formalities instead of giving treatment?" Congress Interim President Sonia Gandhi had also written to PM Narendra Modi a few days ago expressing concern over the rise in black fungus cases in the country and the alleged shortage of essential medicines and urged him to take immediate steps to provide relief to patients with the disease.

Earlier, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi had once again hit out at Modi and the Central government in a tweet on Sunday. Rahul Gandhi had attacked PM Modi over mann ki baat. He tweeted, "To fight corona, it is the right intention, policy, determination. It is not useless once a month". Rahul Gandhi's remarks came on the day PM Modi addressed the country on Sunday in the monthly radio programme 'Mann Ki Baat'.
