Rahul Gandhi lashes out at Yogi government for Hathras scandal

New Delhi: The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has been deployed to protect the victim's family after the alleged gang-rape and murder of a Dalit girl in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. Now the former National President of Congress Rahul Gandhi has targeted the Yogi government of the state citing the PUCL report which states that the victim family needs immediate relief but they are not safe.

Rahul Gandhi, MP from Wayanad Lok Sabha seat of Kerala, tweeted from his official Twitter handle that he wrote, 'The constant exploitation of victims at the hands of the government in UP is unbearable. The entire country is seeking answers from the government in the case of Hathras rape and murder and is with the victim's family. Another example of uniform hooliganism in Gundaraja. ' It is noteworthy that the People's Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL) on Saturday, in the case of alleged gang rape and murder of a Dalit girl in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, made public its report.

It said that immediate relief is necessary for the families of the victims of the deployment of the Central Reserve Police Force (CPRF), but they are not safe. The PUCL has said, "the families suffering from the deployment of CPRF are in immediate relief but they are not safe." The family is terrorized as to what will happen if the police force is not there, so apart from the safety of the family, arrangements should be made for their rehabilitation with the Nirbhaya Fund.
