Minister alerts people on fake vacancy in Railways

New Delhi: Indian Railways has advertised more than 5000 recruitment advertisements as fake. It has been clearly stated by the Railway Ministry that the Railways has not removed any such recruitment, these advertisements are fake. PIB has tweeted that the news of recruitment for more than 5000 posts in Railways is fake. The tweet reads, 'Avestran Infotech is advertising a newspaper advertisement of jobs in Indian Railways on social media. The Railway Ministry has not outsourced the jobs mentioned in the said notice, the qualification is also wrong and there is no discrimination on the basis of gender in the Railways. '

According to the advertisement, the outsourcing agency has removed 5285 vacancies on 8 posts of the railway. They have also been asked to pay a fee of Rs 750 for applying to these posts. These 5,285 recruitments shown in the advertisement include 600 posts of Junior Assistant, Controller 35, Booking Clerk 430, Gateman 1200, Canteen Supervisor 350, Cabin Man 780 and 430 posts of Welder. The educational qualification has also been prescribed for different posts in the advertisement. Along with this, it has been said that candidates will be selected on the basis of interviews only on these posts in Railways.

The advertisement removal agency has sought applications for candidates from only five states Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Punjab. The Railway Ministry warned the people not to come under the guise of such recruitments. No such advertisement has been issued by the Railways.
