Railway employees to work in two shifts, Railway Minister as soon as he takes over

New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi has made changes to his ministry. With this, the action of Ashwini Vaishnav, the new railway minister of the PM Modi cabinet, has begun. As soon as he took charge, the Railway Minister has changed office time first. According to the new order, officials and staff of the Ministry of Railways will now have to work in two shifts.

As per the order issued by the Railway Minister's office, the first shift will start at 7 am and end at 4 pm. On the other hand, the second shift will start at 3 pm, which will continue till 12 pm. According to railway ministry sources, the ministry may intend to work for a long time, without harassing its employees so that someone is available during extended hours without a long hour's load.

Ashwini Vaishnav has been entrusted with the responsibility of railways, one of the largest railway ministries in the country. He has also been given charge of IT and the Ministry of Communications. Piyush Goyal had earlier been in charge of the Railway Ministry. Now they have been given the Ministry of Textiles. Before him, Smriti Irani had the responsibility of this ministry.
