Rail Yatri's intercity bus collects 100 crores investment, so far accumulated so many crores

New Delhi: The intercity bus service unit of Rail Yatri has reported on Monday that it has received Rs 100 crore from an investor group headed by Infosys chairman Nandan Nilekani. Samsung Venture Investment also participated as a strategic investor in this investment phase. The company said in a statement that current investors Omidyar Network and Bloom Ventures also got caught in it. It is noteworthy that Nilekani is also a current investor in the company.

Intercity Mobility Startup has so far collected a total of $ 30 million (Rs 215 crore). Manish Rathi, CEO and co-founder of Intercity by Rail Yatri said that the current investment will help further expand our Intercity smart bus network and make our tech platform more robust. He further said that the company will expand its Smart bus fleet to 300, which is now 84 in the coming few months. The company's target is to add 2000 smart bus to its network by 2022.

Staling Technologies has renamed the pilgrimage to Intercity by Railcity and operates two consumer brands Intercity SmartBus and RailYatri. The company currently operates 84 intercity smart buses for 65 destinations between 18 cities and serves about four lakh passengers every month.
