New Delhi: After two consecutive days of increase, today i.e. on Monday (February 24), the prices of petrol are being stabilized. On the other hand, after the increase in diesel prices on Sunday for the first time in 6 weeks, today there has been a break again. Oil marketing companies have not made any changes in the prices of petrol and diesel on Monday.
It is worth mentioning that the oil marketing companies on Sunday increased the prices of Delhi, Kolkata and petrol by seven paise, while in Chennai by eight paise per liter. On the other hand, in the four metros, the price of diesel was increased by seven paisa per liter. According to the website of Indian Oil, on Monday (24 February 2020), customers in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai are getting petrol at Rs 72.01, Rs 77.67, Rs 74.65 and Rs 74.81 per liter respectively.
On the other hand, diesel is being sold in the four metros at Rs 64.70, Rs 67.80, Rs 67.02 and Rs 68.32 per liter respectively. Let us tell you that the Oil Marketing Companies (OMC) fix the prices of petrol and diesel daily after reviewing the prices and this price starts from 6 am.
