New Delhi: Heavy rain in the national capital Delhi on Saturday morning has caused waterlogging in many areas. On the other hand, the weather in Delhi and NCR has taken a turn for the worse due to the impact of western disturbances . Meanwhile, most parts of Delhi have been receiving rain since midnight.
With this, heavy waterlogging has occurred on Delhi-Gurugram Expressway due to rain in NCR area. In such a situation, the minimum temperature has dropped due to rain with cold winds. Meanwhile, the Met department (IMD) has predicted intermittent rain in Delhi and adjoining areas today (Saturday). In fact, according to met department (IMD) estimates, light to moderate intensity rainfall is likely to occur in the entire Delhi and areas around NCR (Ballabhgarh, Chhapraula, Noida, Dadri, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, Manesar, Tijara, Alwar (Rajasthan) during the next 2 hours.
Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued snowfall along with heavy rains at isolated places in the western Himalayan region and rain alert in the plains of northwest India till January 9.
