Rajanath Singh chairs Aero India's Apex Committee meeting

New Delhi: Defense Minister Rajanath Singh today, January 24, lauded Karnataka at the Apex Committee meeting of Aero India, expressing that the state is known for its skilled manpower and robust defense manufacturing ecosystem.

Addressing the meeting via video-conferencing, defense minister said that "Karnataka is one of the leading states in contributing to the economic growth of India. This state is known for its skilled manpower and robust defense manufacturing ecosystem," adding  that  Karnataka played a significant role in conducting the world's first hybrid Aero Show- Aero India-2021.

The fourteenth edition of 'Aero India 2023' will be held at Air Force Station, Yelahanka, Bangalore from 13 to 17 February 2023.

Karnataka Chief Minsiter Basvaraj Bommai participated in the Apex Committee meeting of Aero India at Kalaburagi airport via video conferencing. The 5-day event will combine a major trade exhibition of the aerospace and defense industries and also an aerial display by Indian Airforce.

The show will also feature involvement from international think tanks in addition to participation from major aerospace investors and world leaders.

The government official claims that Aero India will offer a special chance for the sharing of knowledge, concepts, and innovative ideas in the aviation sector. It would support the cause of Make in India in addition to boosting the domestic aviation industry.

Aero India 2021 attracted attendees and exhibitors from more than 55 nations.
