Rajasthan: A groom ran away with his friend's girlfriend before his marriage

Jaipur: A unique case has come to light in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, where the groom fled with his own friend's girlfriend 15 days before the wedding. However, the police took immediate action and traced both the boy and the girl and handed them over to the family members. The case is of Ratanada area of the district. Police said a family had filed a missing report on Saturday evening. The family had said in the complaint that their daughter was nursing but had been missing from home since Friday.

When the police launched a search on the complaint of the family members, it was found that the girl had fled with the intention of marrying a young man named Badal Nayak from Paboopura. When the police brought Badal and the girl to the police station and questioned them, they said that they both wanted to get married but could not get married as it was Saturday. According to police, Badal Nayak had fled with his friend Amit's girlfriend. The girl fell in love with Badal after Amit broke up. Badal and the girl are said to have been having an affair for the past 6 years. But in the meantime, Badal's wedding got fixed elsewhere. She was scheduled to get married on November 14.

SI Bhanwar Singh of Ratanada police station said that the bride has registered a case of cheating against groom Badal. At the same time, the bride came to the police station and slapped Badal. The police later intervened and cooled the matter down. However, police have registered a case of cheating against groom Badal and started an investigation.
