Jaipur: Rajasthan cm Ashok Gehlot, deputy CM Sachin pilot and former CM Vasundhara Raje have condoled the demise of famous Kannada writer, actor Girish Karnad. The deputy CM pilot, in his condolence message, wrote on Twitter that, "express grief over the demise of legendary theatre artist and Padma Bhushan honoured Girish Karnad". According to the pilot, Girish Karnad will always be remembered for his contribution to literature, theatre and cinema. Former CM and BJP leader Vasundhara Raje has condoled the demise of Karnad and said that her visit is an irreparable loss to the Indian cinema and literature world. Let me tell you that the playwright, actor, director and the Jnanpith Award awarded Girish Karnad passed away at his home in Bengaluru on Monday. He was 81 years old.
