Rs 5,000 fine for not wearing mask, market closes at 7 pm, New orders issued in Rajasthan on Corona

Jaipur: The Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan is going to take tough steps once again to tackle the Corona epidemic. The penalty for not wearing masks in the state has been increased from Rs 200 to Rs 500. Markets will be closed at 7 pm in 8 districts including Jaipur, which is most affected by Corona. Curfew will also be imposed from 8 am to 6 am in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Udaipur, Ajmer, Kota, Alwar and Bhilwara. However, those going to the wedding will have concession in the night curfew.

The government has issued new guidelines on Saturday night. It said that by closing the commercial activities including markets and offices at 7 pm, all employees would be able to reach home before the night curfew began. Essential services including those traveling by drugstores, buses, trains and airplanes will be exempt during the night curfew. Students who take the exam will get a concession.

In the Corona affected 8 districts, 75% of the employees in government and private offices with more than 100 employees will be called on duty. 25% will work from home based on rotation. The Health Department will conduct door-to-door surveys in the Containment Zone. In Rajasthan, 3000 cases have been reported on Saturday. Only 995 positive cases were found in Jaipur and Jodhpur. Section 144 has been implemented in many cities.
