Bhopal: Today, on November 22, 'Gopashtami' is being celebrated across the country. Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan also offered prayers to cow at his residence on the occasion of Gopashtami. During this time he also fed fodder to the cows. During this, Shivraj said that cows are the centre of our faith. If the malnutrition is to be eliminated, cow's milk acts like nectar.

Shivraj said that we have made arrangements to give cow's milk to very malnourished children. Cow's milk is nectar, it is not me, it is also called science. CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan has also made two tweets, posting pictures of worship of the cow. In the tweet, MP CM Shivraj Singh has written, 'सर्वकामदुधे देवि सर्वतीर्थीभिषेचिनि। पावने सुरभि श्रेष्ठे देवि तुभ्यं नमोस्तुते. Today, on the auspicious occasion of Gopashtami, worshipped the cows and got them fed. Today we are launching a sacred work, may God bless us, this is the prayer.'

In another tweet, Shivraj wrote, 'Worshiped cow on Gopashtami today to fulfil all wishes and gift of health. For the first time, there was a lot of emptiness when the wife was not there at the time of cow worship. We wish Gau-Mata to bless us. May all wishes be fulfilled. '
