Minister Vishvendra Singh said this about the corruption prevailing in the tourism department

Amidst the havoc of Corona, Rajasthan Tourism Minister Vishvendra Singh is troubled by the corruption prevailing in his department. Vishvendra Singh wants the investigation into corruption in the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation ie RTDC should be conducted by an independent institution.

In a letter to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot regarding this matter, Vishwendra Singh expressed anguish over the corruption prevailing in his department and said that a detailed investigation should be done to establish a zero tolerance policy against financial irregularities and corruption. Vishwendra Singh does not believe in the Anti-Corruption Bureau in the state police investigating corruption in the state. For this reason, they want that any organization from Deloitte India, KPJM, PWC and Ernest & Young etc. should be investigated for corruption in RTDC.

For your information, let us tell you that in a letter written to CM, Vishvendra Singh said that the tourism industry of the state is suffering due to Kovid-19. The state's revenue from tourism has decreased. In such a situation, it becomes the responsibility of all government departments and autonomous institutions including RTDC to reduce their expenses. Allegations of financial irregularities have been made from time to time in RTDC. He said that a complaint of corruption in RTDC reaches me. Therefore, it is necessary that the financial activities of RTDC should be investigated by an independent agency.
