Dehradun: Naresh Bansal has filed nomination papers from BJP for one seat of Rajya Sabha in the state of Uttarakhand on Tuesday. No candidate has been fielded in the state except BJP, due to which Naresh is being determined to be elected unopposed. After scrutiny of the nomination papers of Rajya Sabha on Wednesday, it is believed that Naresh Bansal will be given the certificate of Rajya Sabha Member. Out of the total 70 members of the Uttarakhand Assembly, the BJP MLAs number is 57, so the victory of the party candidate is being considered. No candidate is in the fray from the Congress. Currently, Raj Babbar of the Congress is a Rajya Sabha member on this seat, whose term ends on November 25. This is why the election is happening. The assembly's equation is in favour of the BJP, due to which Congress has not fielded anyone. If there is no deficiency in Naresh Bansal's nomination letter, then his election is scheduled to go unopposed. Chief Minister Trivendra Rawat said on Tuesday that Naresh's victory is certain. The Chief Minister said that Bansal has received the fruits of his 50-year services rendered to the party. That is why it is said that spiritual practice never goes in vain.
