New Delhi: Indian Farmers Union leader Rakesh Tikait has announced the siege of Parliament House on November-29-2021, to mark the completion of one year of 'Kisan Andolan'. In a meeting of the United Kisan Morcha held on Tuesday (November 9, 2021), a resolution was passed from Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan to gather huge crowds and hold large meetings on all fronts of Delhi. The Winter Session of Parliament also begins on 29th November. In the meeting, 'Kisan Leaders' have decided that 500 farmers will be selected who will go to Parliament House by every tractor-trolley by the end of the parliament session. It was also decided to organize a mega Kisan-Mazdoor Mahapanchayat at Azad Maidan in Mumbai on November 28. It will be jointly organized by more than 100 organizations of Maharashtra under the banner of the Joint Agricultural Workers' Front (SSKM). The 'Kisan Andolan', which began on November 26 against the three agricultural laws, is completing one year. In 2020, on the day of 26 November, a crowd of farmer protesters had entered Haryana and then the next day, sitting on the Kundli border, was blocked on GT Road. At the Ghazipur border, farmers are still sitting on strike under the leadership of Rakesh Tikait. The Central Government did its best and the Union Ministers held several rounds of meetings with the farmer leaders but the two sides could not reach a consensus. The Central Government has been saying that the avenues of talks are still open.
