Kolkata: Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo and Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has now started preparing to focus on politics outside Bengal after registering a victory in the West Bengal assembly elections. In the same episode, CM Mamata Banerjee has entrusted her nephew and MP Abhishek Banerjee with the new responsibility of TMC general secretary so that Abhishek focuses on the party's operations and Mamata Banerjee can focus on politics outside Bengal. During his meeting with Mamata, Tikait will hold talks on enhancing the existing farmers' movement against the Centre's agricultural laws. Sources said 'Rakesh Tikait will meet CM Mamata Banerjee on June 9. He will congratulate him on his landslide election victory.
