New Delhi: Farmers have been on the borders of Delhi for the past several months in protest against the agricultural laws brought by the Central government. He said they will not end the agitation unless his demands are met. Earlier in the day, farmer leader Rakesh Tikait interviewed a private news channel in which he compared the Central government to a lion. However, he also asked the farmers to remain alert and slammed the government saying it can make any move at any time. Rakesh Tikait also reacted sharply to what he called Mavali. In the interview, Rakesh Tikait was asked if earlier you people were called Mawalis that you people do 'organically.' Now, you are being called Mawali. Replying to this, Rakesh Tikait said, "These are the people of Delhi, the people living in sparkling cells. If they don't live on earth, then they look like that.'' Rakesh Tikait responded to Meenakshi Lekhi's call as 'Mawali,' saying, 'If our houses are made of bamboo, we will be mawali for them. We had already said that they have made a statement at the behest of somebody. They don't work with their minds, their minds are hacked. Tikait further said, 'If the lion has sat down, the deer should not think that he was scared. Rather, he is betting, because if he sits down, he will surely bet on survival. The lion of Delhi is still silent, somebody will definitely act.'
