Raksha Bandhan 2021: Dry Fruit Laddu recipe

Raksha Bandhan is a festival that celebrates togetherness between brothers and sisters. Families come together, exchange gifts, and prepare traditional meals. But does any festival gets complete without delicious dishes and sweets prepared? The answer is clearly ‘No’ so here is the recipe to make your sweet at home.

Dry Fruit Laddus: They are the best choice as it is mouth-watering and a healthy snack. It is a healthy snack packed with nutrients, fiber, dates contain vitamin C and B complex vitamins.

Ingredients Dates (chopped) - 2 nos Almonds - 1 tsp Raisins - 1 tsp Dry figs - 2 nos. Green cardamom [peeled and seeds crushed] - 1 no.

Directions Step1: Take a pan and roast the almonds till brown. Step 2: Chop the dates and figs and add them to the roasted almonds. Step 3: Peel the cardamom and powder the seeds coarsely. Step 4: Add the chopped dates, figs, raisins, almonds, and the coarsely powdered cardamom powder in a grinder and grind. Step 5: Now, ground the ingredients together until they form a coarse mixture. Then spread on a tray or plate or taken in a bowl. Step 6: Roll them into a small ball and the laddus are ready.
