New Delhi: The voice of support for the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) is getting even louder. On Monday, rallies, meetings and signature campaigns were organized in many states including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand. Awareness rallies in UP were started with Ganga Khadar in Meerut. Here, State BJP unit president Swatantradev Singh told the Bengali community the features of the act. Bengal MPs Jagannath Sarkar and MLA Dulalchand Var were also present at the rally. A public awareness procession was held in Varanasi and other cities of Purvanchal along with Aligarh, Kanpur, Auraiya. A tricolor rally was organized in Ballia. Awareness marches were organized in many districts of Punjab. In many districts, the BJP leaders protested by blowing effigies of the Punjab government. Awareness rally was organized in Kangra and other districts of Himachal Pradesh. The tricolor trip was organized in Chhindwara, Betul, Vidisha and Sagar in Madhya Pradesh. Janjagruti Manch organized a unity march in Vidisha. BJP's public awareness campaign in Uttarakhand continued on Monday as well. BJP was not allowed to take out a rally in Kashipur in Udhamsinghnagar. A rally was organized at Satpuli in Pauri under the leadership of state tourism minister Satpal Maharaj. During this, Satpal Maharaj said that the public is giving a befitting reply to those spreading rumors about CAA, people have understood the conspiracy of the opposition parties.
