Ram Gopal Varma's OTT platform has gone live from May 15. Its name is Spark. And on this he has also released his movie D Company. Ram Gopal Varma's movie D Company stars Ashwat Kant, Pranjay Dixit, Naina Ganguly and Ira More in lead roles. The movie is based on Mumbai's Don Dawood Ibrahim. D Company has been written and directed by Ram Gopal Varma. The movie is produced by Sagar Manchanuru. The movie was scheduled to hit the theatres in March but was later postponed. Ram Gopal Varma has now released his movie on the OTT platform. Ram Gopal Varma had said that 80-90 per cent of his upcoming movies will be released on the OTT platform. Releasing the statement, Ram Gopal Varma had said that 'The first reason is that you have to go to the theatre, while the other has to make a convention to take yourself to the theatre. You now have to take three hours to go to the movie and if you go to the movie and you don't like the film in the first 10 minutes, you start getting bored and you think you have wasted your time. The ott platform is characterized by that if you don't like a movie, you can skip it and watch another film, I think the OTT platform will benefit'.
