Land Rover has unveiled a new ‘Ultimate Edition' of the top-of-the-line Range Rover Sport SVR, the quickest and most powerful Range Rover vehicle currently available. The new arrival sets itself apart from the standard SUV, with a raft of personalisation options developed by the firm's Special Vehicle Operations division. With several personalization choices devised by the company's Special Vehicle Operations section, the new arrival stands out from the crowd. Latest design on the bonnet and boot, new carbon fibre bonnet vents, 22-inch alloy wheels, and red brake callipers are among the new aesthetic touches on the Range Rover Sport SVR Ultimate. Buyers can find all kinds of unique colour combinations created by the SV Bespoke team, including three new paint options that include solid glass flakes. A black contrasting roof, mirror caps, front grille, and other specifics are added to all models. There will also be a variety of additional personalization options to make it even more unique. The Ultimate Edition is now configurable on Land Rover's website, though there is no word on a production limit for the limited-edition model. The new special edition retains the Range Rover Sport SVR’s 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine. This engine produces 542hp and 700Nm of peak torque and comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The SUV can crack the 0-100kph sprint in just 4.5sec and reach a top speed of 280kph. Today's JLR-developed 5.0-litre V8 is expected to bow out to make way for a BMW-derived 4.4-litre twin-turbo unit. It paves the way for the top-rung Range Rover to match the 624.5hp and 748.4Nm outputs of the X5 M Competition, which uses this engine.
