'If door-to-door ration system was implemented..': CM Kejriwal

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has held a press conference on ration arrangements to rule the country over the past few days. He said the Delhi government took approval from the Central Government not once but five times.

The Delhi Government abolished all the objections of the Central Government, we also removed the name from the scheme. Even then, we were told that we did not take the permission of the Central Government. Arvind Kejriwal said that the ration mafia's strings go up to the top, if the door-to-door ration system was implemented, the mafia would have been eliminated. Kejriwal further said, "Sir, if you stand with the ration mafia of the country, who will stand with the poor people of the country".

On the other hand, 1,14,818 new corona cases were registered in the country in the last 24 hours, the lowest in 59 days. At the same time, active cases of corona are also continuously declining in the country. After the last 52 days, the active cases have come down to less than 15 lakh last Saturday. In addition, less than 2 lakh cases are now being registered in the country in 10 consecutive days. With new corona cases for three consecutive weeks, active cases have now gone up to 14.8 lakh. The same Union Health Ministry says that there were more than 37.8 lakh active cases in the country on May 8 but now they have come down by 40 percent.
