Patna: Crime cases sometimes come to light that are shocking. Now, a similar case has come to light recently also. This is the case of Bihar. Here a handicapped drank a glass of water without asking and was thrashed by the villagers. He was reportedly beaten to death during treatment. The incident took place last Saturday and the police informed about it. Police said, the incident took place in Badepura village under Chauhari police station in Begusarai district.

Here last Saturday, chhote Lal Sahni, who was 50 years old, had gone to a pond near the village for fishing. On his way home, he was thirsty and drank a glass of water from a pot of water in a house. In the same case, police station in-charge Raghavendra Kumar says that Dinesh Sahni and son Deepak Sahni arrived when the divyang man was drinking water. In the meantime, they thrashed him with sticks for drinking water without asking. During this time he was beaten so badly that he was not even fit to reach home.

The villagers then rushed him home. The police officer further said that Chhote Lal's condition worsened at home after which his wife admitted him to Sadar Hospital Begusarai for treatment on Friday. In view of his critical condition here, doctors there referred him to PMCH but Chhote Lal died during treatment there. Police have arrested the main accused Dinesh Sahni in the entire case but the other accused is absconding.
