Reliance Jio has announced an increase in prices for both its prepaid and postpaid plans, effective from July 3. This decision impacts all customer touchpoints and sales channels. The entry-level plan, previously priced at Rs 155, will now cost Rs 189, marking a 22% increase. Despite the price hike, the benefits such as call minutes and data allowances will remain unchanged. The telecom giant has revised rates for 14 unlimited prepaid plans, 3 data add-on plans, and 2 postpaid plans. Bi-monthly plans are priced between Rs 579 and Rs 629, offering data from 1.5GB/day to 2GB/day over 56 days. Quarterly plans range from Rs 479 to Rs 1199, providing 1.5GB/day to 3GB/day over 84 days. Annual plans are available from Rs 1899 to Rs 3599. It’s important to note that plans offering 2GB/day data or more will include unlimited 5G data after the price hike.
