The Ministry of Personnel has issued a directive to all the Central Government Departments seeking the clarification of questions on this issue. Along with this directive, they should avoid unnecessary reference to the Department of Personnel and Training under the Ministry. Government employees who were on official visits, and unable to return to their headquarters due to the unavailability of public transport. They must be marked present on the duty on the last date of the official tour, as per orders. This action of the administration has given relief to thousands of Government employees who were unable to return to their duty due to lockdown.
