New Delhi: Republic TV caught in TRP scam has now approached the Bombay High Court. Republic TV and Arnab Goswami have moved the Bombay High Court to quash the FIR lodged by the Mumbai Police in the TRP scam case. Republic TV and Arnab Goswami have filed petitions in the Bombay High Court. Along with this, a CBI investigation has been demanded in the petition. The matter will be heard on Monday. The case will be heard in front of Justice SS Shinde. Earlier, Mumbai Police had issued fresh summons to Vikas Khanchandani, the CEO of the Republic TV. The names of CEO Harsh Bhandari and Priya Mukherjee were also mentioned in the summons. Apart from this, another summons was issued to Ghanshyam Singh, the distribution head of the Republic. Simultaneously, the Mumbai Police had also sent a summon to the CEO of Hansa Research. The Mumbai Police has informed the Income Tax and GST department to investigate the tax evasion. The trial court has also heard in fake TRP case. Republic TV first reached the Supreme Court in the fake TRP case. However, the apex court had asked Republic TV to go to the Bombay High Court. The apex court had said that the hearing of this case would first be held in the High Court. After which Republic TV has reached Bombay High Court.
