New Delhi: Hungarian motorcycle manufacturer Kevey has launched the retro-inspired quarter-litre model, the SR 250 in the Indian market. 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle is currently on display to the public at the Auto Expo 2023 in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The motorcycle features a similar design to the SR 125 and a new 223cc single-cylinder engine. Keyway made a splash in the Indian market in May last year. The company launched seven products in the United States, including two 300cc scooters, two cruiser motorcycles, an entry-level scrambler, a streetfighter and a supersport. The Keyway SR 250 features a muscular 14.2-litre fuel tank, a round halogen headlamp unit, a wide handlebar, a ribbed-pattern single-piece seat, a flush-type under-seat tubular grab rail, an upswept exhaust and a circular exhaust. Taillamp Unit. The motorcycle is dressed in a single-pod instrument cluster and 17-inch wire-spoke wheels shod with knobby tyres. A 5-speed manual gearbox is responsible for the transmission duties. For better braking performance and rider safety, the Keyway SR 250 features dual-channel ABS and disc brakes on both front and rear wheels. With an asking price of Rs. 1.49 lakh, Kia has introduced the retro-inspired SR 250 (ex-showroom) in India. The motorcycle can be reserved for a nominal fee of Rs. 2,000. Shipping of the quarter-litre product is expected to begin in April 2023.
