Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday held a review meeting with the officials through video conferencing regarding the preparedness and status of the migrants. After the guidelines issued by the government for permission to bring back the people of the state, the Bihar government has clearly said that it is not possible to bring people back safely and systematically by buses.

On this matter, Minister Sanjay Jha has said that a large number of migrant workers and students of the state are stranded in other states. We have demanded a special train from the central government. He said that if these people will be brought by buses only one third will be able to reach the state. People of the state are stranded in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and elsewhere. It is important to bring them back safely. On the other hand, politics continues in Bihar on the issue of migrant workers. Leader of Opposition and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav has said that if the Bihar government is running short of resources to bring migrant laborers and students, then they should contact them. He said that he is ready to give two thousand buses to the state government to bring back the Biharis.
