Lagos: At least 60 people killed, when a roof of church in southern Nigeria collapsed on Saturday. According to rescue officials, “bodies of at least 60 victims have been retrieved but the toll could mount as a crane removes debris”. The incident occurred in the 'Reigners Bible Church International in Uyo', capital of Akwa Ibom state, where Governor Udom Emmanuel with hundreds of people got stuck inside the Church, at the time when the corrugated iron roof collapsed, and the metal grid crashed into worshippers.
