IPL 2020: DC to lock horns with RCB for playoffs

Abu Dhabi: All eyes will be on the 55th match of the 13th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) today. Delhi Capitals (DC) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), who topped the tournament, will compete in Abu Dhabi to stay in the playoff race today. The team that wins in this match will go straight to the second position, while the losing team will have to wait for Tuesday's match.

The teams of DC and RCB, which have been consistently in the top 3 after making a good start to the 13th season, are now going to compete to remain in the IPL. After this match, one team will secure a place in the first qualifier, while the other team will be out of the tournament. Currently both Delhi and Bangalore teams have 14-14 points. This match is very important for both the teams, because after this match, there will be no league matches left. Although both teams have a net run rate of minus one, Bangalore is still better in the match, as their net run rate is higher than Delhi.

Let us tell you that whichever team will lose in this match of DC and RCB will have to depend on the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians on Tuesday. Hyderabad's net run rate is better than both these teams, so even after 14 points after winning the team will easily make it to the playoffs.
