In an early trade today, the value of rupee made a tepid start today by recovering a mere 3 paise to 64.05 against USD. On Tuesday, the Indian currency had closed lower by 3 paise at 64.08. However, the benchmark Sensex fell 57.74 points, or 0.18 per cent, at 30,524.86 in early session today. Pramit Brahmbhatt of Veracity said, "We expect the rupee to consolidate in narrow range of 64-64.20/dollar for the day. Negative US economic data may help the rupee to appreciate.
