Safety of Muslim women is the priority of Modi Govt: BJP

NEW DELHI: The protection of Muslim women is said to be a top priority for the Narendra Modi-led Central government, according to the Bharatiya Janata Party, which is conducting a nationwide outreach programme to interact with minority communities, particularly the Muslim community.

The saffron party on Tuesday used to its Twitter account to illustrate the complete sequence of events making the practise unlawful in an effort to communicate the idea that the government has done a significant and historic work to provide equal rights and security to Muslim women.

The Rajya Sabha's decision to outlaw triple talaq is seen in the video, along with Muslim women's emotions, as well as the Prime Minister's statement from the Red Fort's ramparts.

The BJP claimed in a second tweet that the triple talaq law had empowered and safeguarded Muslim women, writing: "Triple Talaq law empowers and protects Muslim women!" On July 30, 2019, the Triple Talaq Bill was approved by Parliament, making it unlawful.

The BJP, which is campaigning across the country to connect the country's minority community, especially the Muslim community, with its party has claimed that protecting Muslim women, is the priority of the Modi government. BJP has released a video on its official Twitter account on Tuesday.
