MG Motor: Company has sold so many cars in India

The world renowned automobile company MG Motor India has released the sales report for May 2020. The country is currently facing a deadly epidemic like Coronavirus and the sales of car makers have been affected. The company has sold 710 units in May 2020.

MG Motor India has opened the production at Halol Manufacturing Plant in March due to lockdown, using 30% capacity. The company has also opened around 65 percent of its showrooms and service centers across the country, where work is being done with less manpower. The company sold 1,518 units in March 2020, of which 1,402 units belonged to Hector and 116 units to ZS EV. Rakesh Sidana, sales director, MG Motor India, said, "The supply chain was affected, as well as financing difficulties in May, which also affected the closure of several dealerships due to lockdown." After the reduction in production, our front-end retail operations are continuing to work with less staff than usual. ''
