Leaders close to Mulayam Singh join BJP, big blow to SP before UP elections

Lucknow: Before the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, the BJP has given a big blow to the Samajwadi Party (SP). Shatrudra Prakash, considered very close to SP's MLC and Mulayam Singh Yadav, has been included in the BJP. BJP UP unit president Swatantra Dev Singh has got him included in the party. Swatantra Dev Singh said that with the arrival of Shatrudra Prakash, the BJP will be more powerful. Joining committee chairman Laxmikant Vajpai said that the socialist movement has lost its way.

After joining the BJP, Shatrudra Prakash said that we have done the politics of non-Congressism from the beginning. Today, on the death anniversary of Rajnarayan Ji, I am joining BJP. Shatrudra Prakash had proposed in the Legislative Council in favour of the construction of the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor in the past. He has also demanded from the state government to include Kashi Vishwanath Dham in the World Heritage. Shatrudra Prakash is an old Sapi. His wife has also been the president of the SP Student Union.
