Uttar Pradesh: SP to Conduct ‘Samajwadi Kisan Ghera Programme’

New Delhi: Farmers are seeing the biggest outrage over agricultural laws in Haryana and Punjab, but there is no less anger among up farmers. That is why Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav has opened a front from social media to the road against the Bharatiya Janata Party on the issue of farmers to strengthen their political ground in Uttar Pradesh. In protest against the agriculture law, SP workers will hold talks with farmers in all the villages of UP on Friday.

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has said that the worst injustice has been done to the farmers in the BJP regime. The SP will take up village-village Kisan Cordon programme against agricultural laws across the state.  He said the Samajwadi Party is the farmers' own party. We are with them in the fight against the farmers. The SP will also provide information about the farmers' welfare schemes of the SP government with their support to the farmers through the Kisan Cordon programme.

In the Kisan Cordon programme, Samajwadi Party president leaders will hold talks with farmers in Chowpal along with bonfire in villages. Their problems will be discussed and convince them to be allies in their struggle. The SP has entrusted its 132 big leaders and office bearers with the responsibility of planting chaupal in one village each for the event.
