Actress Nagma, who performed the song with Bollywood Dancing King Prabhudeva in 'Muqabala o Laila', is celebrating her birthday today. She is active in politics these days except the film world. Born in Mumbai on December 25, 1974, Nagma is celebrating her 46th birthday today. She has been a successful actress in Telugu and Tamil films but started her film career with Bollywood.

She was accompanied by Bollywood actor Salman Khan. The film was ranked 7th among the highest-grossing films of that year. Despite the first hit in Bollywood, Nagma had turned to the South film industry. She has worked in more than 50 films including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada so far. However, her Bollywood career was limited but quite good.

In Bollywood, she gave several successful films, including 'Baaghi' (1990), 'Yalgar' (1992), 'Suhag' (1994), 'Lal Badshah' (1999), 'Kunwara' (2000), 'Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo' (2004). Apart from films, Nagma made headlines due to the affair with the most popular cricketer Sourav Ganguly. She had also expressed her love for Sourav, but Ganguly never publicly confessed the relationship and after a few years of relationship, he returned to his wife. Apart from Ganguly, her name was also associated with Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishan. However, Nagma has not been married yet. These days, she is trying to get into politics as a Congress leader away from films
