Mortal krishna body of Ramchandra Paswan brought to Patna, would be cremated with state honours

Patna: Ram Vilas Paswan's younger brother in the Modi government and MP from Samastipur Lok Sabha seat Ramchandra Paswan passed away on Sunday. His last rites will be performed at Digha Ghat in Patna today. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has announced the last rites of Ramchandra Paswan with full state honours.

This will be held from 11 am to 3 pm at the Lok Janshakti Party (LoJP) office in Patna for the last darshan and cremation will be held at 4 pm in Patna. It is worth mentioning that Ramachandra Paswan suffered a heart attack on July 10. After which he was under constant treatment. He was admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, Delhi for treatment. But his condition remained critical. On Sunday afternoon, he breathed his last in the hospital.

BJP backlash over Mamata's allegations

Ramchandra Paswan had reached the House from Rosada on the JDU ticket for the first time in 1999. For the second time in 2004, Ramchandra Paswan contested from Rosada on Lojpa's ticket and won.  In 2014, Ramchandra Paswan contested from Samastipur on Lojpa's ticket and became an MP. In 2019 also, he was elected MP from Samastipur for the second consecutive time. On July 12, he suddenly complained of chest pains, after which he was admitted to RML, where he passed away on Sunday.
