Mumbai: With the announcement of assembly elections in Maharashtra, political activities in the state have intensified. The infighting in the NCP has come to the surface after the resignation of Sharad Pawar's nephew and former Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar from the party. Now BJP has targeted Sharad Pawar on this issue. Sambit Patra slapped Pawar on the pretext of Section 370. Patra said that no political party can have two heads, two marks and two constitutions. Section-370 was also applicable in NCP. It ended with the resignation of Ajit Pawar. The BJP leader said that in this background he wants to ask why the NCP is silent on the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. He termed Ajit Pawar's resignation as an internal matter of NCP. On Sharad Pawar's statement about ED, Patra said that ED means Enforcement Directorate, not 'Event Development' (Program Development). Let us tell you that the NCP supremo was going to the ED's office in Mumbai himself on Friday, but at the last moment he changed his schedule, fearing the law and order situation. Referring to Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan's speech at the United Nations, Patra asked Congress to apologize to the top leadership for former Union Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde's remarks on Hindu terrorism. Actually, Pakistan has been using the statements of opposition leaders of India for their rights on international forums.
