New Delhi: Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is said to have started receiving stable Android 13 along with One UI 5.0 update. However, this update is said to not contain the November 2022 Android security patch. In October, the South Korean tech giant unveiled Android 13-based One UI 5.0. At that time, it was only available for the Galaxy S22 series. Since then, Samsung has started rolling out stable Android 13 to the Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy A33 5G, and other devices. According to SamMobile, [Samsung] has started rolling out the stable Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update for the Galaxy A73 5G. According to reports, this update is currently available only for Malaysian users. The One UI 5.0 update is expected to roll out to other countries in the coming days. Notably, it does not include the Android security patch for November 2022. Users need to go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install to get this update. This includes custom-built modes and routines and new features like Bixby Text Call. Users can also customize the lockscreen with this update. The One UI 5.0 update has reportedly been rolled out to the Galaxy S20, S21 and Note 20 series since then. Also, the Galaxy A33 5G recently received an update. Users of Samsung's latest foldable smartphones Galaxy Fold 4 and Galaxy Flip 4 may have to wait till 2023 to receive the One UI 5.0 update.
