Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23+ full specifications are revealed by a leak

New Delhi: Samsung will present its Galaxy S23 series at the Galaxy Unpacked event on 1 February. The full specifications list for the S23 and S23+ has been revealed just two weeks after their launch. The three standout features of the handset are a 50MP main camera, a 120Hz AMOLED display, and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.

The three models in the S23 line-up that will be unveiled by the South Korean tech giant are the S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra. The gadgets can currently be pre-ordered in India.

Among other benefits, customers who pre-book will receive e-vouchers worth Rs. 5,000. All the important hardware features of the S23 and S23most+ are previewed here (courtesy Winfuture).

The triple rear camera module, in-display fingerprint reader and centre-aligned punch-hole cutout are all features of the Samsung S23 and S23+.

While the S23+ will feature a 6.6-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 393ppi pixel density, the S23 will feature a 6.1-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) AMOLED display with 425ppi. Both the devices will support HDR10+ and have 120Hz refresh rate as well as Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

A 50MP (f/1.8) main camera, a 12MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP (f/2.4) telephoto lens will all be included on the Samsung S23 and S23+. For selfies, the phone will have a 12MP (f/2.2) front-facing camera.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, along with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage, will power the S23 and S23+. The phones will launch One UI 5.1, which is based on Android 13.

The S23 will include a 3,900mAh battery with 25W fast-charging, while the S23+ will include a 4,700mAh battery with 45W fast-charging. It will have 5G, NFC, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity options.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 series will be available for pre-order from February 1 and will go on till February 8. Price and availability information will be made available at launch. In India, we expect the line-up to start from around Rs. 70,000.
